Our mission is to expand educational opportunities for Mora High School graduates by raising funds for student aid distribution and distributing awards of a fair, equitable, and non-discriminatory basis. The Mora Dollars for Scholars Board of Directors would like to send out a sincere Thank You to everyone who contributed to our local chapter this past year. In 2024, scholarships totaling $117,600 were awarded to 42 graduates. Mora Dollars for Scholars is an affiliate chapter of Scholarship America, which is a national organization. Since the Mora Dollars for Scholars chapter was chartered over 35 years ago, we have awarded 1257 scholarships to Mora students, totaling $1,688,050. 98% of donations are awarded to Mora High School graduates. Expenses have been held to less than 2%. We recognize that our community has made a real commitment to our students’ education. We look forward to your continued enthusiasm and support for the coming year’s fund-raising events. Thank you.
